I'm Samed.I photographthe day as it felt.
For couples who would rather live their wedding than pose for it. Based in Switzerland, working across the country and Europe since 2019.

It started with stories, not cameras
I studied media studies and German literature at the University of Basel. There I learned how a story is built: what you show, what you leave out, and when to simply wait.
There was no grand plan behind it. In 2019 I simply noticed that I was good at this, and that making people happy makes me happy too. That has not changed.
A wedding day is a story with its own rhythm. My job is to notice it, not to direct it.

Most of the day, you won't notice me. That is the point.

Three languages, one way of seeing
German and Turkish are my mother tongues, and English is the language of most weddings where guests travel in from abroad.
When family and friends come from different countries, I can talk to all of them. Nobody needs a translator, and nobody feels like a stranger at your wedding. That ease shows in the pictures.

Away from the camera
When I am not photographing, you will usually find me on a padel court. I love the strategy behind it: reading the game, thinking one move ahead, always with an eye on my partner. A wedding day works much the same way.
At home, my wife and our little daughter keep me grounded.

Close enough to see it, quiet enough to let it happen.
The photographs from your wedding will be among the things you keep longest. I want them to look like the day you actually had.
Tell me about your day
Share your date and where you are celebrating. I reply to every inquiry personally, usually within 24 hours.
